Vero Beach Florida is located on Florida's Treasure Coast. Vero Beach's central location, north of Miami, south of Jacksonville and east of Orlando make Vero Beach the perfect Florida vacation destination.
Famous for its beautiful beaches, Vero Beach Treasure Coast beaches combine outstanding sand quality with impressive surf and tidal action. Vero Beach's most popular beach, South Beach, is accessible at the eastern end of Causeway Boulevard, State Road 656. Blessed with plenty of room and life guards, South Beach is used for a variety of sports as well as Florida's most famous pastime, sunbathing. Vero Beach's South Beach has two volleyball courts and plenty of space for a variety of other family beach activities. For beach goer's convenience there are two pavilions with grills, bathrooms and vending machines.
Vero Beach also is home to another public beach, Humiston Park, in Vero's Central Beach Business District. Humiston has lifeguards that make it perfect for families with small children. There is also a big playground and boardwalks.
Vero Beach's Jaycee Beach Park has lifeguards on duty as well as a boardwalk. Jaycee Beach Park has numerous pavilions and a small playground. There are two beaches that are great for both surfing and skim boarding, Conn Beach and Mulligan's Beach.
